A message from North Herts District Council...
Celebrate spring, and summer, with the café kiosks at Bancroft Recreation Ground in Hitchin and Howard Park in Letchworth - both will open along with the splash parks for the first bank holiday in May - Saturday, 4 May.
Serving hot and cold soft drinks and light snacks including pastries, toasted paninis, and ice cream, you can take away or eat at one of our dedicated picnic benches and take in the views of our lovely parks. Dogs are also catered for with free dog treats on offer and water bowl.
And if you’re wondering about our outdoor pools, both Letchworth Lido in Norton Common and Hitchin Lido on Fishponds Road are due to open from Saturday 25 May until Sunday 8 September.
